Ferropolis GmbH

Ferropolis GmbH (2 DCs) or the ‘the City of Iron’, in Halle (Germany) is an open-air museum on the site of what was once a coal mine.

The present-day museum and event venue is all about the reappropriation of former industrial landscapes. Ferropolis will co-supervise the 2 DCs working on post-coal industries in Germany and help them to draft a white paper on creating value from post-coal technologies and/or landscapes. They will participate in the final event during the sessions on ‘applying climate science’ and the ‘job fair’.
